Pet care experience
Check out my Instagram @SamTheSitter for a glimpse into the fun times with the pets I care for! :) An animal lover, I have cared for animals since my teens and at various animal shelters. I have had several cats growing up and in college I volunteered as a dog walker at the humane society. Over the years I have been a volunteer at several animal shelters across North Carolina, Virginia and Pennsylvania as a caretaker for both dogs and cats. I volunteered as a dog walker at the Greenville Humane Society and have also been fostering dogs through the local shelter. I have experience with administering medicines to my foster dogs for conditions like kennel cough, heart-worm etc.

Although this review is very late, I wanted to say that Samira was wonderful. She was our first experience on Rover when she cared for our Dachshund, Bandit, in November 27-30, 2020 when we traveled to Kentucky for the weekend. I was very nervous as it was the first time I had ever left him with a sitter, and because we would be so far away. Samira communicated several times a day with photos of Bandit sunning himself on the balcony, taking walks, napping and eating. I couldn’t be more pleased with the care she provided, which helped us enjoy our trip even more.
Glad we found Samira while we were visiting Atlanta. She is awesome! She took care of Lexi as her own. Wish she was in Chicago Lexi would have visited her often ?
Absolutely love Samira and will be rebooking! Highly recommend!

I live in my home in Atlanta with an unfenced yard and green spaces around to take your dog out for potty breaks. It also has a spacious deck where they can enjoy fresh air and bird watching. I live very close to the new Westside Reservoir Park where I'd be happy to take your pup to if they do well out and about.

A typical day
We'll go on leashed walks or play at a dog park near your neighborhood. For longer walks we can also go to a nearby park and enjoy moderate exercise!

Availability
I work full time in Atlanta as an engineer with pretty standard office hours. However, I have been working from home majority of the time. I can come by and walk your pup or care for them at my place most days of the week!
