Active, Loving, & Home Constantly!

Pet care experience

We're a young couple, who loves dogs! We have three pups! A 4.5 year old, 60-lb pup, Nala, who is high-energy, friendly, and loves having other dogs to play with of all sizes! Oliver, is our 5 year old, 125lb Great Pyrenees, who is just a big ole baby! Finally, we have Hattie, a 2 year old, 90lb Anatolian Shepherd/Pyrenees Mix. Nala and Hattie LOVE playing with other pups! Oliver is our grumpy old man and will sniff around then go find a spot to nap while the rest run around and play. We also call him our "fun police" and like to introduce him to new pups slowly! I work from home 75% of the time, and am only out of the home 10-15 hours a week, so I have plenty of time to love on your babies. We're both active, and love to go for runs and walks. Nala LOVES running, and we're used to running with her when the weather cooperates, so we're happy to give your pup as much or little exercise as they would like. We typically take anywhere from 1-3 walks a day in addition to regular potty breaks. We also have a fenced in yard so your pups can run around and play. Around here, dogs are family, and we love snuggling with them on the couch or in bed at night (if you're okay with that!). We've both grown up around dogs, and love the companionship they provide. We're happy to help with potty-training or crate-training, and are experienced in giving medicine (pills, liquids, drops, and shots). We also foster for a local rescue and are well experienced in proper introductions with dogs, to make sure everyone gets along well! Oliver, is a true Great Pyrenees and is very protective of our home and our two girls. He welcomes others quickly as long as they are introduced on neutral ground. All pups are introduced outside of our house, and we can give dogs (yours or ours) separate decompression space if needed. If you're a first time client, we make sure to introduce everyone slowly over the first day to make sure everyone gets along! We never just throw all of the dogs in the same room together right off the bat. We also tend to ask lots of questions for anyone who is requesting boarding their dogs in our home, or doggy daycare, just to make sure everything is a good fit! Our first priority is making sure all of the dogs (both yours and ours) are happy!

Sami is the best dog sitter. Grace can’t wait to go play at her house. She knows exactly where we are headed as we drive down her street. Thank you for taking such good care of my fur baby.

If you are heading out of town, you NEED to have Sami come stay at your house! We love the security we feel when leaving our dog, chickens, guinea pig, and fish with Sami. She always sends great updates and takes such good care of our kiddos. Plus, she leaves the house spotless - so nice to come home to after a few days away.

Information Sami S. would like to know about your pet

We have no breed preferences, but would love to know if your dog is potty-trained or crate-trained, requires any medicine, or has any other special needs. We would also like to know of any dominating habits, resource guarding, or potential aggression. We are happy to consider working with any issues as long as we are aware ahead of time! We just ask that you are honest with us in regards to any questions we ask. However, unfortunately we are not able to take dogs into our home that are not good with other dogs.

A typical day

Yes! We live in a quiet, low-traffic neighborhood and both of us are active and enjoy working out, running, & walking. Whether your pup wants a slow stroll around the block, or would rather run a few miles, we're flexible! We can also simply leash walk around our yard if your pup is older or has medical concerns, or let them run around and play in our fenced in backyard.
