Pet care experience
I have recently moved back to Colorado from Florida. I attended the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley and received a bachelor's degree in psychology and currently work as a registered behavior technician for children with autism. I have two dogs and a cat of my own names Boone, Breck, and Apollo. I love animals and have been on Rover for the last three years and volunteered here and there in animal shelters both in Colorado and Florida.

Sami is great!!! This was the first time we had a sitter come to the house and she was SO good with our dogs! We have two large and energetic labs and are always a little hesitant with someone new watching them because they can be, well, totally nuts. Sami was so patient at our meet and greet we were instantly confident she was the best choice. During her stay she sent pictures and check-ins often and was just super responsible (even left the sheets folded after she left). 10000% would book again. Thanks Sami!

Sami is awesome! She is great with a challenging dog that's powerful and can be intimidating due to his size. She uses her experience and knowledge to emphasize positive reinforcement and identify behavioral triggers rather just writing him off as difficult. She's excellent!

I currently have two dogs and a cat of my own. Our dogs are crate, leash, and off-leash trained, and we do everything we can to make sure they remain active throughout their days and receive enrichment on days we are unable to get them some exercise.

I would like to know if your dog is friendly or shy right off the bat so I am aware as to how I should approach him or her. I would also like to know how your dog interacts with other animals so when we are walking I know if I should take any precautions if approached by other dogs or if I can take them to the dog park.
A typical day
I love walking my own dog through neighborhoods and local parks, especially on my old college campus. I am also happy to take your dog to the local dog park and play with them there. If a backyard is available we will play with toys such as balls and sticks for them to chase. We will work on training too, of course, to increase behaviors but also establish important one-on-one attention that many dogs crave.

Availability
I currently work a full-time job in Fort Collins but am typically available in the mornings, evenings, and weekends. This is not always a consistent schedule as changes can occur last minute and unexpectedly.
