Hi! My name is Samara, I am a recent college graduate of Howard University, hailing from New Jersey. I’ve moved to Alexandria for work and live in a 3 bedroom condo with my 2 Pups, Adonis (2 Years) and Odie (7months). I live in a great location for walking and close to several dog parks (with an SUV for transporting). When I can’t make it to the park, there are several open fields where I let my pups run themselves out. My home is best suited for energetic pups who would love a vacation with a 24/7 friend to play with. I have a designated dog room with lots of toys, beds, and even a pet friendly futon that they love to lounge on. I’ve owned and personally trained various breeds; from pitbulls to rottweilers to pugs. I’ve been walking dogs since I was 7 and am a certified walker here in the DMV area. In my experience I’ve learned that every animal is unique and each has something different and special to offer. When given the due respect, love, and attention that they deserve, they reciprocate that tenfold. I’m also an avid athlete and runner and tend to enjoy it even more with a four-legged friend accompanying me. I can’t wait to meet and get to know your best friend; I will leave your pup or kitty full and fulfilled! I’ve trained both of my pups myself and they adore anyone they meet. The sweetest things, love people and other animals. They both absolutely LOVE play dates with pups of all breeds and sizes and they usually leave themselves and everyone around them exhausted haha! We’d love to arrange a meet & greet.

I have no breed preference or apprehensions! In my opinion, all dogs are good dogs and just want to be loved and respected, regardless of their size, look, or breed. Before sitting a dog, I would just like to know their temperament, their triggers, any favorite toys or treats that they have, their usual routine, allergies & medication, etc. Anything that will be relevant to making sure that we have the best time together and that will ensure your dog’s, as well as my own, safety.
A typical day
I love visiting parks and just enjoying the fresh air with the pups. I usually spend lots of time in grassy areas to let them do their business and explore. Temperament permitting, I also tend to let them socialize and make new four-legged friends we encounter on our walks. We will also occasionally go for jogs to release some pent up energy and excitement and also get in a bit of exercise. I’m also very playful so your dog will never be bored around me!
