As a child, it took years of dog themed Christmas presents before my father relented and we got our beautiful rottie german shepard mix, Paulie. The joke was on me, though, I had to crate train Paulie and lay down invisible fence wire around our entire property! I learned from an early age the importance of patience, attention, and a calm but firm personality when caring for animals. I've always loved dogs of all sizes, but a real turning point in my life was my work as a pet care associate in a large pet store. There I found an unexpected love for all animals while caring for rodents, birds, snakes, small lizards and amphibians, as well as a variety of freshwater fish. I even handled a scorpion or two! My tasks included administering topical and oral medication for sick animals, escorting them to vet visits, and providing for their general welfare. The current love of my love is my pit-bull mix Zoey, who unfortunately now lives in another state, leaving me with no canine company! I can offer you and your pets all of the love and personal attention on overnight stays. I am unable to offer boarding services due to space constraints, but I've found that dogs are much more comfortable in their own spaces and have less anxiety while their owners are away when surrounded by a familiar environment. I look forward to taking your dog on a fabulous outing, or else providing them with all of the love and attention in their own home.
