Pet care experience
My husband and I are pet owners and new parents as well. Our house has a huge fenced in yard with lots of space to get their zoomies in! We also have a large wrap around porch so your pup can people watch - also enclosed so they cannot run off. We both work, my spouse full time & myself part time. A l So much has changed since we started sitting for Rover - we finally finished grad school, got married started full time careers, bought a home & welcomed our 1st child. We still love sitting for Rover because caring for pets is our true passion! - we are very flexible with pick up/drop off. Reach out and we can work something out! PREVIOUS INFO: We have two furchildren Benji (doxie-pin 8 years old) and Theo (chihuahua mix 7 year old). Theo is the life of the party, happy full of turbo energy and will give your dog a run for your money - they will be tired from playing ALL DAY! Benji is more laid back waiting for treats and lounging around. Our home is close to Midway International Airport, if you fly out from there you can drop your furchild off on your way. Dog sitting is a great opportunity for Benji and Theo to have someone to play with and make friends :) I am a patient & understanding dog sitter that will love you babies while you are away. I will definitely keep you updated with messages and photos while you are away to ensure they are safe & having fun!

Working with Samantha has been a great experience, as a first time Rover user I am so impressed with the quality of care and attention to detail. Samantha was patient with us as Rover newbies, very responsive, and most importantly she took VERY good care of our puppy while we were away. I knew that taking care of a 5 month old puppy might present a bit of a challenge, but Samantha is dog whisperer and provided a safe home for our puppy. Based on the images and video, our family was growing concerned that our puppy may not want to come with us. Our Benny will miss spending time with Theo and Benji. Thank you Samantha!
Alfred is so happy when he realizes he is approaching Samantha's home for a stay. He clearly has so much fun and is treated like family. We are so glad we found Samantha to look after our pup when we have to leave town. She is great with keeping in communication and she sets us at ease to not be worrying about our pup all the time.

We had to leave our 4 month old puppy for the first time since we got him and we were so nervous to leave our little boy with somebody else. Samantha and her dog Benji were the perfect hosts for our little guy. Samantha was very prompt in responses to any communication. We got photos throughout the week to let us know how our pup was doing. He got along great with his hosts and we were so relieved. Would highly recommend them to any new client!

We want to know if your dog is house trained, their food preferences, feeding schedule, how many times they are let out to use the bathroom, temperament, if they get along well with other pets & their sleeping habits (do they sleep in a kennel or in their beds, or usually with you?)
A typical day
If your dog loves belly rubs and lots of love and attention then he/she will enjoy their time here! We understand how important it is for that piece of mind while you are away so frequent check-ins are encouraged! We like to walk around our neighborhood with our baby and dogs - walks are our jam!

Availability
When all adults work in the home on the same days (I am part time so my days vary) - our pets are crated in a large area in the lower level of home. Our pets are left alone up to 8hrs FYI. This may only be 1 or 2 days while your pup stays, I always inform of our work schedules during your requested days
