Beware of using Sam as a sitter for your pets, especially for overnights. We were greatly disappointed in her services. She works a full time job that is definitely her priority, which is fine, but she promised to let our dogs out every four hours and was consistently leaving them for 6 hours at a time inside without bathroom breaks (even on the weekend). We have Ring cameras so have documented footage of every problem. She was supposed to be housesitting and staying at our house but she was rarely there, so our animals were left alone for long periods of time and if there was a problem she wouldn’t have known about it. Her “walks” were about 10 minutes when she did walk the dogs. She would send us pictures of the dogs on their “walk” but our cameras showed she was out only a few minutes with them. If we didn’t have the footage we would have never known there was an issue as she sends pictures and makes it seem like she’s with your animals the whole time when in fact she’s gone. To make matters worse, she decided to quit and leave us hanging half way through the job while we were 2,000 miles away after we simply asked her about the walk times through a text. She is clearly of the mindset that does not like to be accountable for her promises or actions and was very unprofessional in leaving us in a lurch like that. We had to spend an additional $500 on a last minute plane ticket for my husband to fly home to take care of our dogs and a neighbor helped us until he could get home. We initially hired her because she was supposedly a vet, but for someone who is supposed to care for animals she did not care at all for ours as she promised or as she ethically should as a vet. BE CAREFUL OF THIS SITTER and if you do hire her make sure you have cameras that can track her actual work ethic as she will try to tell you she is doing more than she does.

Sam was amazing! My older kitty is shy around new people and warmed right up to Sam! I got pictures and updates with every drop in and felt like I had left her in very caring hands for a week! I will definitely be looking to book Sam again!
