Hello! My name is Sam, and I am so excited to work with your companions! Here is a little bit about me: -I am a part-time social worker and part-time animal caretaker -I have been engaging with animals my whole life, but have been professionally involved for about 4.5 years. -I have worked with many kinds of animals: cats, dogs, guinea pigs, chickens, goats, etc. -I have one pet of my own. He is a guinea pig and his name is Herbie!

Sam was absolutely wonderful! Even on a pretty short notice for drop-in visits, Sam was quick to respond, communicative, and very professional. Just a down to earth, chill person, I definitely trusted Sam with my cat and she went above and beyond! Highly recommend and for sure going to be a repeat client!

I will care for your animal in a holistic, individualized way based on their needs. As I do have guinea pigs, some rooms will be off limits. However, we have two living rooms, a spacious kitchen, and a garden area for your animal to use the bathroom. I also live within walking distance of a park, and would be happy to take dogs there (provided the animal has the proper training for this)

Tell me all about your animal! Their likes, dislikes, boundaries, favorite foods, favorite toys, history, and more! Please be transparent if your animal displays signs of aggression or has had a history of aggression in the past. This will not result in an automatic decline of the job, but I need to know your pets behavior prior to coming to the home. The more information I have about your pet, the better I can engage with them!
A typical day
I will choose activities based on the needs of your particular animal! As I live near Platt Park, I love to take dogs there to walk, interact with other animals, and play fetch! As for cats, I will do indoor activities based on their age, energy levels, and personal preferences

Availability
My schedule is fairly open at the moment. This usually ends up working in your favor as I'm available to take odd jobs (potentially last minute)! Additionally, if you are a reliable and consistent customer and/or friend, we can work something out to create a routine for your animal!
