Who else can say they've actually given a dog the Heimlich maneuver. I was at the dog park once with a friend and another dog playing catch with his owner somehow managed to swollow the ball & can you believe half pet owners don't know how to save their pet from choking! Well no worries with me I am CPR certified with humans and have actually saved a dog once with what I've learned and the vet told him if it wasn't for me his buddy wouldn't have survived. With that said I know how hard it is to leave and have to trust someone so have no worries when you leave them with me. Have watched many dogs here in Hawaii as well as in Colorado. Here in Hawaii I have my two children (16 & 12) at home as well as my husband. We all love animals and treat them just like family when we have one or two stay over night or for a week or two.
