Must Love Dogs!
Pet care experience
I only take one dog at a time, with occasional overlaps if the dogs are established with me. I have two very friendly Brussels Griffons who LOVE to have friends to play with! Fully fenced in yard? ABSOLUTELY! Large yard in the back to play play play! Are they unsupervised outside?- NEVER UNSUPERVISED outside, heck no! Are they allowed on furniture? Dog hair is a stylistic choice in my home ;-) (wherever they are allowed at their home, they are allowed here) Can I do nail trims or baths while they're here? YAS! I used to be a groomer- if requested ahead of time I can accommodate. Can I administer medication/handle special needs? Absolutely- my one BG takes heart medication twice daily, so with clear directions and guidance as to your pets schedule I will help in any way I can. Extended stays? Of course!! Enjoy your time away and your babe will be happy and safe with me for however long you are gone. Drop off and pick up from appointments? I GOT YOU! (well, your dog!) If your pet has any vet/grooming appointments while you are away, I will gladly chauffer them to and fro! Can I stay at your home if your dog is more comfortable there? Yep!! If you'd prefer someone to pet sit at your house, I am more than willing to work with you on that as well. Some dogs don't do well without their puprents to begin with and then a new home setting is SCARY too! References? This is my second time using Samantha and I’m just as pleased as last time 😊 She was so excited to get to see my dog again which makes having to leave him a little bit easier. She’s the best!
Sam was absolutely amazing! I had to book super last minute but she was very accommodating. She sent me multiple pictures and videos everyday. I could tell how much she truly cared about my dog which put my mind at ease while I was away. Highly recommend.

Samantha was amazing! Wyatt had the best time and I think was a little sad that he had to leave. We experienced some travel disruptions that caused us to have to extend Wyatt's stay. Samantha had no issues doing so, even with short notice. I would definitely recommend Samantha AND Sheldon to anyone looking for someone to care for their pup!

I will accommodate any way I can. It can be scary for your pet while you're gone, but keeping to their normal routine and/or finding someone they trust is CRUCIAL. I like to do meet and greets ahead of time to make sure that your pet gets to know me and my dog beforehand. What your dog is allowed to do at your home, they are allowed to do at mine. I do not want to establish any bad habits at my home while you are away, so if your pet is not allowed on the furniture/bed at your home I will respect your boundaries and keep them off the furniture and bed at my home. As for playtime outside, it is NEVER unsupervised- I am always out playing and watching them because DOGS ARE DOGS! They obviously want to get into anything they can (or try to escape!)! If you have any questions or have any special requests, do not hesitate to reach out!

Anything and everything you can tell me about your dog will be beneficial to me AND your dog. I want to keep their routine as close to normal as possible to reduce any stress and anxiety they may have about you being gone. If they have special needs, quirks, behavior issues, food issues, when they eat (if I need to fake putting some human food on top of their food to make them eat it), etc!
A typical day
I like to have them get some energy out running in the backyard and on walks. I do not limit exercise to only physical needs, I love to have their little minds stimulated with mind games that help enrich their thinking and problem solving. I love going to Onondaga Lake Park and Green Lakes, but I have a wonderful neighborhood to walk them in as well.

Pet care is basically my life! I come home from work and it's GO GO GO time with little Chester bear and Theo! We play and train until bedtime!
