Pet care experience
Growing up, I can remember how emotional and upset I’d get that my two large Great Danes would have to go to a kennel when my family would go out of town. When I heard about Rover, I couldn’t believe this wasn’t a thing many years ago! At that time, I knew boarding dogs was the perfect opportunity for me! Growing up with Great Danes provided me the experience of caring for larger dogs and dogs of all ages! I also house sat for my family members and friends throughout my teenage years and in my early 20’s.

Samantha took amazing care of Teddy and Mona. They felt right at home from the very start. She was very accommodating with our one very skittish dog and took the time to make sure he felt safe. We will definitely rebook in the future.

Samantha was fantastic! I have an older dog that likes to sit on the couch and get scratched, and Samantha did just that. She was easy to communicate with, super caring and sent regular updates with photos. I recommend Samantha for pet sitting and will use her again!

Although I do not have a fenced in yard, I have a young dog (Charlie) who enjoys going on walks each day. He is also very friendly with other dogs and enjoys having friends to play with! Charlie is cage free, but I do have an XL crate available for use, if needed. I typically allow dogs on furniture, unless told otherwise by their owner 😊

A typical day
I enjoy going on walks, usually twice a day. I can provide your pup with lots of love, cuddles, and exercise. I feel it’s important to provide the dogs I watch with the same amount of attention I give my own dog! I would say I am patient and have a quiet/ calm environment in my home, which is great for dogs that are more timid and anxious when they first arrive.

Availability
Although I work full time, I am home by 5pm each day and make it a priority to take Charlie outside for a walk each day. My weekends are always free! I also have two pet cameras in my house to keep an eye out on things while I am gone, especially when other pups are in the home ! When I am at work, I allow the pups to roam freely, unless an owner would like their dog caged throughout the day.
