Hi, I’m Samantha! I have been a professional dog walker for over 4 years now and have grown up with dogs all my life — sized big, small and everything in between! Currently, I have a 2-year-old Bichon Poodle (Teddy) keeping me company at home, but I love meeting new dogs. Every single pup has such a unique personality and energy. I would love to meet your best friend and give them the same level of care I expect for my puppy, making sure they feel happy, and, most of all, loved!

I live in a quiet community that has plenty of dogs for some socialization during your pup’s stay. At home, I have a 2-year-old bichon poodle named Teddy for continuous companionship when staying at my home. They can easily be separated if needed, and I am experienced with introducing new dogs to each other (on neutral grounds to avoid anxiety and territorial behavior, such as outdoors).

I would like to know how well they get along with others, human-kind and dog-kind. I would also like to know how the owner feels about treats and rewards so I know what sort of behavior is rewarded around the house. I am fine with any dog breed, but I do prefer a poodle or poodle mix dog since they are hypoallergenic. I am slightly allergic to dog-hair, but I have stayed overnight with a non-hypoallergenic dog that shed and I was perfectly fine. A non-hypoallergenic dog is not an issue.
A typical day
A good belly rub and a nice, scenic walk around the neighborhood are my favorite things to do with the dogs that I take care of.

Availability
I work as a public relations coordinator full-time. I work 3 days in the office in NJ and 2 days at home. On the days I work from home, I am able to care for dogs consistently. Plus, I get to choose my work-from-home schedule so I can be flexible for round-the-clock care.
