Pet care experience
I have spent my entire life with animals being a part of my family. I’ve helped raise animals and was trusted by friends and family to care for their animals. I utilized Rover throughout college as a way to financially get by, but more importantly, to help improve my mental health. While I couldn’t own my own animals in school, I had the honor to love others’ animals. I took some time off to focus on my career, now that I feel settled I am so happy to get back to Rover!

Samantha takes care of my one boxer, Brody, and two cats; Patches & Angus. She does very well with Brody, as she is consistently taking him for walks or outside to run around and play. As for the cats, she keeps up with their grooming and plays with them as well with their cat toys. One of the cats is blind and she takes extra care of him and gives him the special attention he needs. I would highly recommended Samantha as a dog sitter, as she is responsible, caring, and sensitive to all animal’s needs.
Sam takes care of our dog Sassy which is boxer and our cats Patches, Shiloh and Tiger when we go out of town. Sassy just loves her. Sam gets down on the floor and plays with her and takes her for walks. I would highly recommend Sam to anyone needing their pets taken care of.
Samantha is great with caring for pets! We grew up in the same town and when my family went away she would always take care of our four labs (quite the handful). She made sure they all got the care and attention they needed and more, and would spend plenty of time outside with them so they had time to run around and play and we always came home to new toys. I would highly recommend her as a sitter to spoil your pets!

I currently live in an apartment and am, unfortunately, unable to have your fur babies in my home. However, I look forward to taking them on walks and getting to spend time with them in their home environment where they are most comfortable. While I will of course follow your rules for your pet in the home, I also keep into consideration to respect them as that is their home and their space. When taking care of your fur baby, I will care for them as I care for my own. Following your preferences and doing everything to make them happy ♥️🐾
Information Samantha L. would like to know about your pet
I have no breed preference at all, I love all dogs big or small. I would like to know how your dog behaves around other animals and if they are able to walk on a leash as going for walks is one of my favorite things to do!
A typical day
I love going for walks whether they’re in public places such as the peninsula or more secluded hiking areas, depending on your comfort. Whether it’s going for long walks, cuddling on the couch or playing with toys I cannot wait to love your animal as though they are my own.

Availability
I currently work full time as a BHT during school hours, making me unavailable week days from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm. However, I am available before/ after those times, weekends and dates where there is no school. I will try my best to keep my calendar as up to date as possible for your convenience!
