I have had cats and dogs all of my life. The first dog I remember is my childhood dog, a Doberman/Shepherd mix, Wendy. Throughout the years my family has had plenty more pets, including Golden Retrievers a, Wolf Hybrid, a Min Pin, small Terriers, a retired drug and bomb dog (my dad was a trainer). My first dog as an independent adult was a Rottweiler who I miss until this day. I have never been without a cat. I even snuck one into my dorm room when I was away at college (sheesh...don't tell anyone). I have been working at an animal shelter for over 5 years now. The shelter has given me experience with so many breeds of dogs along with all their unique personalities, from neonatal bottle babies to elderly pets who need love too! My son is currently a child volunteer at the shelter so he has had a lot of experience with different kinds of pets. I am raising him to view them as a part of our family. I love my cat and dog like my own son. I would be honored if you would let me share my family and love with your pet.
