Pet care experience
Recently moved to South Bend to work at the University of Notre Dame. I am a young professional in the South Bend area looking to care for pets! Growing up, I had 3 dogs and most recently I had a poodle with a chronic cough, but an incredibly lovable personality. I'm patient and will care for your dog as my own. I will follow your instructions. I'm not afraid to ask questions to ensure your dog receives the same treatment and care it would receive from you! I've been a dog (& baby) sitter for years for different friends and family members. I'm willing to chat with you as long as you need so that you feel comfortable about leaving your pet with me. New to the South Bend area. Please feel free to ask whatever you’d like!

Samantha watched my cats for me while I was away for two weeks and she did a phenomenal job! I have two adult cats and senior cat with mobility issues. One of the adult cats requires daily medication, which is administered with food. She visited every day to feed them, change their water, and clean the litter boxes. She never rushed a visit, but instead took the time to play with them, love on them, and open the windows to give them some fresh air (which they love). Samantha also sent me regular text updates to check in with me during my travels, which I greatly appreciated. I will definitely hire her again!
Sam loves dogs, and dogs love her! Whether it is just for a short walk or an extended stay, my mini poodle, Jett, is always excited to see Sam walk through the door. Sam does a great job making sure Jett stays on his walk, bathroom, and eating schedule. She obviously has lots of experience with dogs and cares very deeply for them and their safety. I highly recommend her as a dog caregiver!

A typical day
I LOVE going on walks! I'm new to the area so any recommendations you have I will follow. If a dog can handle it, I usually go on 30-45 minute walks and have play time for about another 30 minutes with a ball or any other toys you have available. Of course time can be adjusted depending on the pet.
