Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Samantha and I live in Florida with my husband and our two fur babies, Dusty and Carrie. I have been a pet owner for 17 years and have had up to 5 dogs at a time as well as cats. I have had small dogs such as Yorkies and large dogs like labs. In high school I was a volunteer at our local SPCA and human society’s and now I have fostered as well as adopted from them. I have also bred dogs and taken care of new born puppy’s. I am able to accommodate for pets who like to lay in a comfy bed in the air condition or dogs that like to go out for runs and play.

I want to make sure you feel confident that your pet is in a safe and loving place when you’re out so I will always provide pictures of your fur babies or any updates needed. At my house we don’t have our fence up yet, but it is something we want to add in the future. For now we like to keep all pets on leashes when going outside. We have a nice yard and lots of room to run, though we don’t like taking the chances of any pet getting away. I’m very big on pets always having what they need so I’ll make sure they always have water and nothing is left out that would harm them if they got hold of it. Last, since we have different pets at home we like to make sure everyone gets along first. You will always know if your pet comes into contact with any other animals and if able I always like to have a meet up first. Though if some furry friends seem to need some time apart our house can accommodate different spaces for animals that are all safe and comfy!

I like to know a lot so that I can make you and your pet as comfortable as possible. • What’s their eating habits and what foods are off limits. (Our dog loves to eat veggie scraps as we cook!) • Does your pet have its vaccinations? • Can your pet get aggressive with other pets or people? • Whats your preferred method of communication? • Does your pet chew on shoes or furniture? • Is your pet house broken? How often are they taken out? • Is your pet crate trained or do they typically roam free when left alone or at night? • How are baths for your pet is they get messy from playing outside. • How is your pet on a leash?
A typical day
We love to explore here! If you’re pet is up for it we like to leash up and go on walks or even hikes. We always check the ground to make sure nothing too hot to walk on and when playing at parks we make sure we have a space we’re you’re pet is most comfortable. We even love to take our dog to the pool for some splashing around in the heat! If these things don’t interest you or your pet were great at staying home and cuddling up on the couch too!

Availability
I currently have a cat and a dog so pet care is a huge part of my daily routine and life. Typically my husband and I wake up early enough to take care of our pets before I leave for work. I’m a full time teacher and come straight home after work for long walks and lots of cuddles. Thankfully I live close to work so coming home on lunch break is always an option as well. Our weekends usually include us doing activities with our pets as we hate leaving them alone for too long without us.
