I have always had a great love for all animals and enjoy spending time with my own pets as well as others. I began pet sitting/house sitting as a teenager and have continued sitting for friends and family throughout my life. My pet family currently consists of 1 dog, 2 cats, a chinchilla, a horse, and turtle. In the past I have also had parrots, chickens, ducks, goats, rabbits, mice, sheep, and cows in the family. I have been volunteering, fostering and training with local rescue's and shelters since 2011 and have really found so much joy in working with rescue animals. It is a joy to see the scared and homeless blossom with love and training into wonderful furry family members. I have had the pleasure of working with many different breeds, sizes, ages, and temperments of dogs and cats over the last several years. I am pet CPR & First Aid certified. I know many of us find it hard to travel or be away from our pets for extended hours unless we have a trusted and caring person looking after them. I find myself being the go to "sitter" for so many friends and neighbors Our home has a large fenced yard overlooking open space, a pool to swim in, and a large indoor pet playroom for when it's to hot, wet, or dark to play outside.
