I’ve owned and cared for all kinds of creatures big and small for my entire life. I am comfortable with big dogs and leash reactive dogs, cats, farm animals, reptiles and more. I have a calm and confident approach ideal for anxious animals. I only take one house-sitting client at a time, so your pet will be my only priority. I enjoy photography and do my best to capture your pet’s unique personality with every picture. I have owned and/or cared for a variety of animals including rabbits, horses, cats, rodents, lizards, turtles, goats and pigs. I offer partial day rates for shorter sits of 4 hours or less. Please message me if you only need an afternoon or evening of sitting. :-)

Samantha was fantastic! She stayed overnight to watch our 2 year old Samoyed and it was the first time we had spent the night away from our dog and it couldn’t have gone better. She was thorough and communicative and sent lots of updates and awesome pictures. Highly recommend Samantha!

My dog Cooper had a great time hanging out with Sam for an afternoon. Sam gave my Cooper plenty of attention and a nice walk around the neighborhood. She understood having an older dog which I totally appreciated.

A typical day
Lots of walks, cuddles, toy time and playing. I believe a tired dog is a happy dog! I like walking dogs in as much nature as possible and will work to find nice grassy spots for your pup to sniff and explore.

I work from home daily and can largely set my own schedule as well as provide constant care when needed. I’m able to give oral and IM injections as well as deal with special needs animals.
