Due to the fact that I work from home and take calls - I am no longer able to take dogs that have destructive tendencies. As I am home full time, your dog will receive maximum care and attention. In addition to the Rover guarantee, I am independently insured. I have been studying canine behaviour and working with dogs since 2007. I never let the dogs play outside alone. I am outside with them the entire time monitoring playtime. I also always separate during meal time and allow them to have 30-45 minutes for their food to settle before reintroducing toys. I have acquired and made countless mental stimulation toys for dogs (puzzles, snuffle mats, licki mats, hide and seek toys) in order to keep your dog mentally and physically busy. I have a very large fenced backyard! I have two Standard Poodles. They both LOVE to keep dogs occupied but are respectful of dogs that wish to be left alone. If your dogs are nervous around other dogs, that's fine! Our house is set up nicely to accommodate dogs that cannot tolerate other dogs as well. *PARASITE DISCLAIMER* In order to provide the safest environment for both my dogs and boarding dogs, I require each dog to be up to date on flea and tick prevention. We treat our yard professionally as an added security measure. I check upon arrival and will not be able to provide service if fleas are found. If fleas are found midstay - a flea bath/treatment charge will need to be added or immediate pickup will need to be arranged. Thank you for helping keep everyone flea free and happy!!! **KENNEL COUGH DISCLAIMER** I have yet to have either my dogs or guest dogs contract kennel cough under my care due to disinfectant measures learned at a veterinary clinic. However - the kennel cough (Bordetella) vaccine is similar to the flu vaccine. There is always still a possibility of a communicable cough similarly to humans going to school and catching a cold there. I take precautions and ask for dogs to please remain home if showing signs of contagious diseases no matter how small. Thank you!
