I adopted my best friend at the age of 7 and have been a dog lover ever since. My home is constantly filled with animals. We currently are home to two dogs and 8 birds. I also spent a lot of time as a child volunteering at Tails (my local animal shelter). My mother and I fostered litters of puppies every summer for 5 years from the same animal shelter. I am a college student, but I go to NIU so I live in my home town of DeKalb all year long. A pet in my care would get a lot of love an exercise. I know from experience most dogs like long walks with plenty of time to smell everything. I also understand not every dog grew up in the best conditions before finding their forever home, and I personally have a lot of experience with high-stress animals. I do not offer over night visits or dog boarding.
