Pet care experience
I have a vast amount of experience working with animals. Currently, I am a student zookeeper at Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo. I grew up volunteering in my local humane society along with fostering kittens. I am a certified veterinary assistant through Carrington College with veterinary experience from my externship and through employment. I worked at an animal boarding facility that houses dogs, cats, and exotic pets (rabbits, birds, guinea pigs, ferrets, bearded dragons, etc.) in Las Vegas for over 2 years. I have experience working with all breeds, all sizes, and all personalities. I’ve worked with senior pets, puppies, and kittens. I am also fear free shelter certified.

PLEASE let me know if your dog is reactive to strangers or other dogs, this is important information to know so I can give your pet(s) the best care possible! :) Let me know if your dogs has any medical problems (allergies, limps, seizures, upper respiratory conditions, etc.), or anything you think I should know. I want to make sure your pet gets the best care!
A typical day
Many owners request drop in services because they are going on vacation! To make sure your dog/cat is cared for and doesn’t get lonely, I’m here for you! I can play fetch with your dog in the backyard, give him/her treats, or even do a mini walk if you are requesting 30 minute drop in visits. Let me know how I can help keep your usual routine. Walks are fun!! I can even run with your dog too. I ask that you provide a collar/harness and a leash that fits correctly. It gets hot, so I can even bring a portable dog bowl and some water.

Availability
I ACCEPT same day bookings, but it’s not guaranteed I’m available. Because I’m a student, my schedule can change often. I am mostly available early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Though, some days I am more flexible! You can always reach out with requests or questions, and I will respond as soon as possible! :)
