Pet care experience
I’m a lifelong animal lover who is ready to provide your pet with a loving and calm home away from home. I grew up caring for a smart and sassy Beagle mix and then in 2016, I adopted my heart dog named Aiyanna. She was a dark sable German Shepherd and every single day with her was a gift. She recently passed away and I have started pet sitting as a way to share the love that she gave us with other animals. I can't wait to shower your pets with love, affection and attention. I am a Life Coach & Reiki Practitioner with a regular mindfulness and meditation practice. I believe this all helps to create a peaceful environment for the animals that I welcome into my home. As a German Shepherd Mom, I have experience walking, caring for and setting boundaries with large dogs. I also have a large and very safe fenced in yard with wood fencing and deluxe locks. It’s a great space to run and play and get those zoomies out.

Samantha was AMAZING!!! She kept me updated with pics/vids throughout the trip and was an absolute GEM to my little guy. Would recommend to anyone in need of a responsible, kind, and communicative sitter for a member of their fur family.
Samantha and Mike were so great being patient and helping with our dog’s special needs. They really tailor their approach to what you need and are super friendly and thoughtful humans. 10/10 reccomend!
If I could give Samantha 10 stars I would! There is no way there’s a better sitter in Savannah than Samantha and her husband. I’m so glad I found them! They took such good care of my 5 yr. old rescue, Cooper, who has anxiety and is easily stressed. He was such a happy boy throughout his stay. Samantha took extra care and detail to ensure before and during his stay that he was not only cared for but truly given a fun and fantastic experience. She kept me updated throughout his stay and sent photos as well. Truly can’t recommend Samantha enough!

As a dog mom of a large breed, safety was always my number one concern. I have a large and safe fenced in yard with deluxe locks. I also have Ring cameras in the front and backyard and your dog(s) will always be supervised if outside. Our house is ranch style so there are no stairs to navigate. I am familiar with all types of collars, harnesses and leashes. I've also taken my own dog to physical therapy at Von Trapp Animal Lodge as well as the doggy chiropractor. Whatever your pet needs - I'm here to help! I am happy to follow the rules and boundaries that you have set for your dog. I will follow their eating and/or medication schedule to ensure a smooth and calm transition. I’m comfortable with crate trained dogs or those that hop up on furniture. I’ll be present all the time to supervise and make sure they are well cared for. On a personal note, I have been married (no kids) since 2013 and my husband works outside of the home. He is out of the house from approximately 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM. He loves all animals and is very comfortable having them in the house. However, I will be the primary caregiver. I regularly practice mindfulness and meditation which supports me in being calm and centered and also helps me to create a calm and relaxing environment for your pet.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors to account for. My previous dog had a high prey drive and did not like cats so I am used to working through those behaviors. All dogs should be up-to-date on their flea and tick medication. Due to allergies, I would also ask that animals come from a non-smoking home.
A typical day
I love to take regular breaks during the day to go for walks with your dog. We can play fetch or chase in the yard or go for walks around safe col-du-sacs near a golf course to take in all the fun smells of the neighborhood. If your dog enjoys running, they can join me for a jog or a walk at one of the neighborhood parks. It’s all about what works for your specific pet.

I am available for boarding on weekends and weekdays. I run my own business and have worked from home since 2016. It is a gift to make my own schedule and that means I can spend all day with your pet! I love to go for walks and take breaks in our fenced in yard so your pets will get plenty of attention, enrichment and exercise.
