Pet care experience
I've taken care of all kinds of breeds, sizes, and ages of dogs. I have experience with puppy training, potty training, crate training, and senior dog care. I enjoy grooming, play time, and training. Family and friends have relied on me to care for all their animals, not just dogs. I also have experience with cats, some reptiles, a bird, lots of rabbits, and even farm animals. I was previously working at a veterinary clinic in Tennessee for a few months, before moving up to Illinois. Being apart of the kennel staff at a veterinary clinic gave me lots of opportunities and experience when it comes to the medical side of caring for animals. This was important for me to have so that I'm that much more equipped in any emergency situations. I plan on continuing this when I'm well established in my new home.

Samantha was phenominal with Bella & CoCo!! She sent pictures & updated us all weekend. CoCo is very temperamental but she LOVED Samantha! I have not seen CoCo become fond of someone this quickly. Samantha played with CoCo in our yard & CoCo loved it! Bella is nervous during storms. Samantha sat next to Bella's bed at night during the storm to calm her. Both dogs were sad when Samantha left on Sunday. CoCo even wined a little. We are very happy with everything about Samantha & will use her again.
Samantha has been the best with my dog. I've been able to say that he was happy on the pics I've received. I will definitely ask Samantha services newt time I need someone to board my dog!

When going through training with my own dogs growing up, I was taught to use treat based training. So that's what I do! Positive reinforcement is very important to me. So, no matter what naughty behavior an animal may have, you can trust your loved one will only be treated with kind correction. I also make limited ingredient, homemade dog treats. (Currently out due to a recent move. Will begin making more soon!) If your pup has any allergies, let me know! I'm more than happy to make accommodations. When at the owners residence, I respect any listed wishes. Whether it be a specific routine you do with your furbaby, or certain house rules to uphold. I always do my best to leave your home as I found it, but I'll probably leave a few smiles behind. Hope that's okay!

(Examples: Doesn't like men or women, hats, paws or tails touched, other dogs or animals, special feeding bowl, medication, routine, ect.) It's important to me to know your pets personality and needs. It helps keep all parties healthy, safe, and happy!
A typical day
I love to keep your fur babies entertained! Whether they want to frolic around and be silly, or rough house, I'm up for up it! We can play some tug, and toss the ball around a bit. We'll practice some cute tricks for some mental stimulation, and take in some new smells around the neighborhood. I love taking my fur friends to Tower Grove Park for a nice scenic stroll. Before the end of the day, we'll celebrate our fun time with a limited ingredient homemade treat! (Upon approval) For any pet parents with loved ones that have sensitive skin - All my belongings are washed with a sentless gentle detergent, as I too have sensitive skin. No harsh chemicals, strong/cheap perfumes, carpet cleaners, ect. are present in my home or vehicle.

Availability
Currently, I am not working anywhere but for myself. This makes my schedule more flexible, and keeps me available for more clients in need. During overnight stays, I will have to set aside 2 small windows of time each day to come home and check on my animals. Don't worry! My animals will not be left without during my overnight stays. They have their Papa♡
