**I have received my COVID-19 booster vaccine, as well as the flu vaccine** **BOOKING POLICY (Added 12/19/2021)** If you request a booking and do not respond to my messages regarding your requests within 48 hours I will decline your booking. I require an in person or zoom meet and greet prior to booking any service. If you resist a meet and greet, suggest booking without a meet and greet, request me to communicate with you outside of the Rover app, are inconsistent with communication and details, or anything else that I deem confusing or concerning, I will deny your booking request with or without notice, and in some cases, I may report you to Rover. I am very flexible and understanding but do not appreciate lack of communication and boundary pushing. Rover rules are in place for everyone’s safety and best interest, they need to be respected.** **PAST AND/OR CURRENT MENTAL HEALTH THERAPY CLIENTS PLEASE NOTE: It is inappropriate and unethical for me to have dual relationships with past and/or current clients. If you are a past or current client of mine and send me a message, I will not respond and archive it upon recognition of who you are. If someone from your household communicates with me via their profile and we proceed with booking services, I will cancel the booking, without a detailed explanation as to why, when I come to recognize the connection. Please save us all a headache and seek pet care services from someone else if you are a past or current client of mine.** Hi! I work full time as a mental health therapist and have limited availability; however, I am able to offer house-sitting, drop-in visits, or boarding at times. I did a lot of pet sitting throughout graduate school and have come to realize how much I miss it, so I like to do it when I can! I currently have five cats, one hamster, and I also foster cats. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, lizards, fish, hedgehogs, and hamsters. I have experience caring for puppies, adult, and senior dogs. I have experience caring for pregnant cats, kittens, adults, and senior cats. I am experienced in administering some medication to dogs, cats, and hedgehogs, too. As a long time pet owner, I understand the importance of excellent pet care, and I assure you I will provide that! I am willing to offer a sliding scale if you are unable to pay full price for my services. Please send me a message and we can negotiate a price that feels good for both of us.

Samantha did a great job caring for my cat Roary. She played with him and pet him and sent plenty of photos with updates. She did a great job with his feeding routine and keeping his litter clean. I really appreciate the attention to detail and care she took of the little guy while I was away.

Sam is the best!! She’s such an incredibly caring and dedicated pet sitter. Even on a shorter visit, she sent multiple updates and pictures of my cat. My older, nervous cat absolutely loves her, and my cat will probably be disappointed when it’s me who comes home & not Sam! She made sure to send updates specific to what I was worried about (my cat being reluctant to eat her new, vet-prescribed food), and she even used some tricks to convince my cat to eat more! She even took out the trash and did more with the litter box than I had asked her to do. She’s the best pet sitter I’ve ever hired, and I’m really looking forward to hiring her again!!
Sam is by far the best cat sitter I’ve ever hired. She was extremely dedicated to looking after my older cat. Sam is a real cat whisperer - even though my cat is pretty nervous and skittish around people, she absolutely adores Sam and showed her belly in most picture that Sam sent! Sam sent updates multiple times per day, sent some of the best pictures I’ve ever seen of my cat, and was so dedicated to my cat’s care. I’ve been worried about my cat’s eating because of her gastroenteritis, and Sam told me every day whether my cat had eaten or not. Sam even put treats in with my cat’s wet food to coax my cat to eat her new, vet-prescribed food. Sam is such a wonderful, caring and extremely capable pet sitter - I’ve never felt so calm being away from my cat! I’m so grateful that Sam is our regular, most trusted pet sitter.

For boarding in my home: I have a separate room for cats to stay in. I foster cats regularly for a cat rescue, and have an entire room set up and dedicated for cats. The room can be adjusted for dogs if needed, and depending on the dog’s needs and temperament, the dog can access the whole house during the entirety of the stay. The separate room has a large and small crate in it if needed. I require animals who are boarding to be up to date on their vaccinations as well as flea/tick treatment. PLEASE NOTE: the separate room is in the basement and it is the only room available for boarding. For dogs, I require you to bring their food, treats they like, leash, and any other supply needed for them. For cats, I require you to bring their food and any other items you feel they need during their stay.
