I am a college sophomore at Kansas State University, pursuing a degree in Animal Science/Pre-vet. I have always had a passion for animals, and my life long dream is to become a veterinarian. I have a black lab, an orange tabby cat, and an African Pygmy Hedgehog. Roscoe, my hedgehog, is the only one who lives with me in the dorms at college while my dog and my cat live in Adrian, my home town, with my parents until this coming summer when I get an apartment. My experience with companion animals goes beyond my pets, though. For the last three years, I have worked at a veterinary clinic. (This last year, I have only worked at the clinic during school breaks.) While at the clinic, I will trim nails, clean ears, assist with examinations, walk, feed, water, and play with dogs and cats.
