I recently booked with Samantha, however, we had a lot of problems with her. 1. Two days before we need to drop off the dog, she asked us if our dogs bark a lot and on just chilling on the couch. Because her neighbor had problems with previous dog barking. This gave us an uneasy feeling, because we don’t know if middle of the stay we will have to find a different seater, even though our dogs are not really barkers. 2. She does not give you any updates or send you any pictures unless you asked for it. I have to ask her multiple times to get updates and get picture of the dogs. I have emphasized we would like receive pictures and updates multiple times to her. However, every signal day I had to chase her down to get an update. The pictures we got is always really bag quality, and never once we got a picture that just the dogs chilling around in her place. He defense was she never had her phone on her, but when I text her on Rover she will respond in timely manner which doesn’t add up. 3. We really don’t feel like we are trusting her with our dogs. So have to hire another dog boarding service to go pick up the dogs and asked her to adjust our reservation. She refused to gave out her number to coordinate with the other sitter. Which is very hard for me to coordinate given I am currently in Europe and it’s 9 hours ahead of Seattle. 4. Also, after our friend picked up the dogs, we realized she never gave the dogs any of their medicine and treats either. We have used Rover multiple times in different cities and have never had this kind of experience before. Rover charged a penalty fee for changing the original booking. After contacting Rover multiple times and getting our bank involved, Rover did give us a full refund of this stay.

Sam is kind and responsive and my dogs who normally come back home from a sitter super stressed out were calm and lovely! I'm excited to work with Sam again!
