Pet care experience
I have always had a deep passion for caring for animals since I was very little. We always had dogs and cats in my house. When I was 16, I got a job at Cherry Brook Kennels and worked in the boarding area giving meds and yummies. I moved to Maine for college, and got the chance to work at Green Acres Kennel Shop, a boarding/day care/training facility that focused on behaviors and group dynamics. I took courses through them and was certified with the Pet Professional Guild as an official Dog Play organizer. I got to learn how to read dog behavior in individual and group settings, it was so interesting to see how much they tell you in such small movements like ears and eyes! I am very passionate about animals and am ecstatic about this opportunity to have more in my life!

Sam did an amazing job taking care of PP. PP can be quite standoffish with new people. But after a couple days Sam sent a video of PP enjoying her petting. She went above and beyond on her visits.It was nice to be able to get away and know that PP was in good hands. I will definitely use Sam again.

Unfortunately, I live in an apartment and am unable to have any pets stay in my home with me. On a typical stop in day, I will accommodate my stay for what my fur clients would like. Pets who like more contact with me on their hangout will get a fun session of fetch, tug of war, jingle ball toss, or feather dancing! For pets who prefer to know I am around but don’t want to hangout directly, I may choose to come over when I have a meeting, so that I can bring my laptop and they can hear the voices of other people too. For pets who prefer I am not there at all, I will do what I can to be elusive and unseen! I want pets to feel as at home as possible while I’m watching them!

I like to get an idea of how much exercise he or she enjoys, any food allergies so I know what treats I can bring, and if you have traveled before and if there are anything specific I should expect :) I have a soft spot for frenchies, but I love all puppers!
A typical day
I go on a hike every weekend! I personally need to get my outside time, and would love to bring your friend along with me!

I work full time at the Jackson Laboratory in as a Project Administrator. I work fully remotely, and can stop by in between meetings at any time!
