Pet care experience
I love dogs more than I love some members of my own family. Your pet won’t just be taken care of— they will be loved, pampered, and snuggled as much as they need while you are away. Give me a chance and I can assure you, I’ll be the only pet sitter you’ll ever need again. I have been on this platform for over five years and have many satisfied customers. My animals are my babies and I know yours are too. While I am caring for them, I will treat them with the same love, care and attention I give my own. I can handle emergencies, deal with separation anxiety, and give your pup the love they deserve so that they don’t even notice you’re gone. They will be safe, happy, and loved. I work from home and am usually available at any hour, though I do prefer to have at least a day's notice and a meet and greet before any appointments. If you are in an emergency situation and need your pet walked or dropped-in without a meet and greet, please reach out to me. My service area is fairly small - mostly in the Cortland Bayport neighborhood - but I am happy to service pets of any type within that area. Please don't be afraid to request something special if it will help you or your pet feel more comfortable. Need your dog's favorite radio station on to help deal with their anxiety? You got it. Does your cat only drink bottled water? My pleasure. Does your parrot only eat while watching reality TV? Consider it done. Want a picture of your hamster every hour on the hour while I'm housesitting? I'll set my alarm. While your pet is in my care, they are my priority. **As I now own two dogs, I only board dogs that I have worked with previously. For all other pets, I am always available for walks, housesitting, and drop-ins.**

Sam was incredible. My cats are usually mad at me when I get home. Because of Sam’s care they had no anger! Not only is she kind and caring towards animals, but she was also so accommodating for me. I was moving when she came to do a meet and greet and by the time I was going away I moved everything around. I sent Sam a ton of messages to explain where everything was, I was super annoying and she never once got annoyed. With every message she was so nice and supportive and I can’t wait to be able to rebook with her. She goes above and beyond and I strongly recommend her to anyone!
Sam did an excellent job taking care of my Morry. I'm especially thrilled that she kept him away from eating any bees, as last time he did that his face looked like a marshmallow. I'm glad the two of them got along, and will certainly be using her in the future.
Special thanks for treating our two furry terrorists with such kindness. Our youngest cat was hurt a few days prior to our trip, we were unsure if we should go. Sam provided plenty of fabulous pictures and kitty entertainment to ease our misgivings. She will definitely be my go to pet sitter in the future.

I work from home so I can easily be there at all hours for your pet. For drop-ins, I document every single activity I do in your home. For walks, I do bring a doggie water bottle with me, and I will not take walks on the pavement during the hottest parts of the day to keep your dog's paws from burning. No matter what service I provide, safety is always my #1 priority.

I'd like to know if they've had any aggression problems, any dietary needs, special toys or needs. I'd like to know if they get along with other dogs I might be boarding (and if not, I can block myself out to accommodate your baby). I'd like to make sure they are medicated against fleas and ticks as we do a lot of walks through nature. Please let me know if they have any special habits or needs that I can accommodate. I'd also like to know their favorite activities and what extra special things I can do to make them feel at home.
A typical day
We'll walk to either of the local dog parks, snuggle on the couch, sit on the screened-in porch and say hello to the neighbors passing by, and maybe even take a sojourn to the dog beach if you're OK with that.
