I am a professional dog trainer who focuses on communication between parent and pet first and foremost. While I would love to help every client train their pet, I understand the priorities of daily care. I have worked with about 100 dogs each day for the last two years, and I easily accommodate a variety of needs for each individual dog. I have worked with dogs who are blind, training a cue that indicates they are about to walk into an obstacle, and taught deaf dogs to read “sit” and “down” from notecards, as well as working with dogs with mobility issues. I personally have a Greyhound/Pit mix who I have been training for his dog-dog aggression and hyper-arousal, so I won’t shy away from your large, strong dog who could pull a sled across concrete. I am also proud parent to one of the chillest Basset/Beagles I have ever met, who frequently accompanies me when meeting dogs who need a playmate.
