I have had dogs (and cats, and even a couple of rabbits and chickens) my entire life. About 8 years ago, I started volunteering at an animal shelter in Cincinnati as a dog walker and became a fierce advocate for rescue dogs, especially bully breeds. I continued this when I moved to Cleveland and volunteered with CITY DOGS at The City of Cleveland Kennel as a dog walker, handler, and volunteer trainer. I even worked as a professional dog walker with a local company for two years. I have a senior rescue dog of my own and two cats. Two years ago I lost my beloved dog of 14.5 years. In his later years, he lost his vision, had some heart problems, and eventually went into kidney failure. Taking care of him taught me so much and now that I have some more time on my hands I would love to show your dogs the same love and care! I am comfortable administering meds, including insulin, to both dogs and cats.
