I've grown up in a household with a dog always present. I first had a German Shepherd and now have a complete mutt, who has Shepherd in him but who I adore because of his uniqueness. I had my own dog-walking service in high school, through which I acquired several clients in my neighborhood and built up a good reputation as a local, dog-friendly resource. Several of my clients became consistent, ones that I kept for several years. In my service, I walked and cared for several dogs of varying breeds and sizes. Through my dog-walking experiences I've developed a strong sense of responsibility and patience with dogs. I've also learned the importance of communication with owners to ensure they receive the best pet service.
