Very loving animal caretaker!
Pet care experience
I've been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 12 years old. I did not do it very much while I was in school, but am now doing it more for my neighbors when they are away! I routinely take care of my next door neighbors' cat when they are out of town. I am very active (lots of running and bike riding) so I am always up for any physical activity, walks, or runs your pet likes!

I have never been the "bare minimum" kind of caretaker. I talk to animals like they can hear me :) (but not in a weird way, I promise). I always double check that doors are locked and everything is okay in the house before I leave. If you would like, I will leave a light on overnight so it's not completely dark, but that is completely up to you (just something I do for my parents' and friend's houses). I like to have an emergency contact from the customer just in case something happens. I have a car so I can travel to and from the location if it is outside of walking/biking distance.

Does your dog get along with other dogs? Are there any activities that you would prefer for me not to do (for example running, fetching, running around in the fenced-in backyard, etc.)?
A typical day
I love walking dogs in my neighborhood in the Museum District. it is a quiet street with little traffic so it is very safe. If your dog likes car rides, I can take them to a nearby park and hang out. I am also always down to hang out on the couch and have a chill afternoon. Whatever your pet is up for, I am too!

Availability
I work 8-5PM everyday but my schedule is a little flexible. I usually wake up pretty early so I always have at least 45min - 1 hour before work of free time. I take a one hour lunch break everyday (the time when I take that is also flexible) and I get off at 5:00 PM.
