Pet care experience
Friends & family call me Sam - I grew up with all kinds of animals/pets throughout my life and I am thrilled and honored to now take care of pets for neighbors, friends and family. Great experience with senior and special needs dogs, plus have raised puppies. And as an adult I have traveled worldwide to experience wildlife, I love, care for and respect animals.

Sam did an amazing job taking care of our 2 dogs! She was attentive to our pets, and asked perfect questions during our meet and greet in order to take the best care of them. The dogs loved having her and she is also very responsible with updating us on everything/sending photos over. We will definitely be using Sam again, and I know our dogs would love it too!
Sam is an amazing petsitter - she took excellent care of my animals and will definitely ask her to come again. One of my cats needed medication and she came over in advance to learn how to do. Sam is thoughtful, conscientious and can tell she has a deep love and care for animals. I highly recommend Sam as a petsitter.

Susan is an excellent sitter, taking care of my overly loved ( by me) mini schnauzer, Lucy. Lucy was a tough nut from the moment she came into my life, becoming a one person dog for most of her life. I’d tried other dog sitters in the past and they could never leash up Lucy for a walk, more apt to play run the around the table game. Lucy would sleep with Susan ( a sign of trust if there ever was one), let her leash up and run excitedly to her whenever she walked up the driveway. I have great confidence that Susan will take great care of your beloved pet.

To best understand your pets' needs and your expectations, I highly recommend scheduling a meet and greet before booking so as to help both you and your dog be as comfortable as possible with our relationship. I would like to know your dog's general temperament toward people as well as other dogs/cats. Does your dog have a playful or calm personality? How are they out on walks - afraid of anything or? Do they prefer attention or alone time? Any dietary or nutrition details of note? I have experience with senior and special needs dogs so I would also like to know if they have any injuries or physical limitations I should be aware of, as well as where they are allowed in your home (and if housebroken), whether you'd like me to walk them or more vigorous exercise, and any other special circumstances I should be aware of.
A typical day
Walk time, play time, meal time and rest time - while I plan to spend as much time as possible with your dog, I do work remotely and I need to be able to leave them for 1-3 hours at a time during house-sittings if something comes up. If interested I can also collect your mail and water your plants while you're away.

Availability
My work schedule is flexible so that I may be available for your pet's needs. I walk daily and look forward to adventuring or meandering with your pet as well. My apartment does not allow pets, though I am available for house-sitting in your home, as well as drop-ins. Our meet & greet will help determine the amount of time you and your best friend will want.
