Before we set up pet-sitting, I like to have a meet-and-greet to get to know pets and owners. Besides asking about dietary and medical needs, I would love to hear about quirks and habits. Some dogs have a favorite walk, and some dogs like to have background noise in the home, and I can accommodate that! Does your dog get along with other dogs? Are there situations that might make your dog nervous or aggressive? Does your dog swim? Some dogs love playing fetch at the dog beach. Let me know your pet’s schedule. Would you like me to text you updates and photos while you’re away? Does your dog have a favorite park? Communication goes both ways, and I always want to hear any feedback an owner wants to offer.

I’ll keep to your dog’s schedule, and make sure there are plenty of walks and potty breaks. Bailey, Wrigley, and I like to go for long walks, either slow strolls around the neighborhood or romps at the many parks around Tampa, such as Water Works Park, Al Lopez, or Davis Island Dog Beach. In the evenings, I like to hang around and read, which is a good time for pup cuddles and belly rubs. I like to send owner’s notes and pictures throughout the day, if they want them, so you will always know your dog is being taken care of.
