I have a wonderful adopted ten year old toy poodle named Stella and have previously had another poodle and a cat. I'm an animal lover. Stella was deathly afraid to walk on a leash given her past history of living at a puppy mill, and with gentle encouragement, within months there was nothing better to her than getting leashed up for a walk! I realize the happiness that plenty of walks bring to dogs, particularly in a big city with all its sights and smells. I have also babysat for families that had dogs/puppies of various breeds and sizes. I adore dogs and quickly bond with them, and am good at reading and understanding a dog's temperament. I feel comfortable giving your dog positive corrective measures if there's bad behavior, at your request. I promise to give your dog a long well-deserved walk, as I love to walk myself. Given that I recently moved to Brooklyn, there is plenty for me to explore with your companion. I live 2 blocks from Prospect Park and the BQ line.
