Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs (my own) since as long as I can remember. I have one of my own right now. Her name is Pickle and she’s a Great Dane mix. She gets along with all other dogs (especially puppies) and loves going on hikes. It’s great when she has another dog to hang out with. I don’t start working full time again until the summer so I have all the time in the world to dog sit, I honestly can’t think of a better job.
Reviews
Sam was absolutely amazing. I was able to drop my pup off earlier than I had planned. He was super patient with Jameson given we are coming out of puppy stage. He updated me throughout the day in regards to activities and then drop off. Super grateful for him and the attention he gave to my pup! definitely will be using again!
I’ve known Sam for years and he has always been a lover of dogs. Whether it be his own or a friends, he makes sure that all dogs are treated well and have fun. He is extremely active and takes his dog on hikes and walks all over the area. Any dog would be lucky to hang out with Sam, and owners should have peace of mind leaving them in his care.

My dog lives the good life and I promise yours will too. She spends all day laying on my couch or bed until it’s time to go for a hike. Plenty of space and plenty of dog bones to go around. Also I live with a friend who works from home and is very good with dogs so there should be no moment when the dogs are alone for more than 15 mins.

Information Sam F. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any special needs or if they need more assistance than your average pet. I can easily accommodate for most things if I have some time to prep. I have experience with blind and deaf dogs. I also have taken care of older dogs that may need help getting around. Those kind of things are very easy for me to work with.
A typical day
I bring my dog on at least an hour hike every day. It’s not work to me because I really enjoy it too. We go all over from the beach to the mountains. We have a few favorite spots that are very convenient because they are close to my house - Vaughan Woods in South Berwick, ME, Gonic Trails in Rochester, NH, Pirate’s Cove Beach in Rye, NH, Long Sands Beach in York, ME. If we have more time we will head up to Mount Major or somewhere in the White Mountains (these are an hour away or farther but we still make the trip once or twice a week). Besides these hikes, I also live in a very dog friendly neighborhood. It’s a set back 3/4 mile loop that is very low traffic so we can easily leash up and go for a walk first thing in the morning and right after dinner.

Availability
I’m around almost every day. Will let you know if that changes for any reason. I am starting a job I’m July but I plan to take it easy until then which means I have unlimited time for walks on the beach, hikes in the mountains and other dog related activities.
