Pet care experience
I'm an absolute animal lover and have owned/been training all types for my entire life (cats, dogs, horses, chickens, geese, etc.)! I've dealt with every kind of personality from timid to aggressive, and have had great success in breaking bad habits from pulling on the leash, barking, food aggression, etc. My own dog has his Canine Good Citizen certification, and I've been receiving professional instruction as an equestrian since I was a toddler. I am fascinated by animal behavior and love to take them hiking or running! I will be happy to work with you to determine your pets needs and help ensure they enjoy their stay at my home. I do not allow pets on furniture, but I will make sure they have access to several fluffy, comfortable dog beds.

We felt totally comfortable leaving our pups with Sam for the weekend. Beautiful pet-friendly home with a big backyard and doggie door, kept them active by running and walking them daily. Sent us lots of updates throughout the day and asked lots of questions to ensure they received the best care. Thanks Sam—would definitely book again!
I really appreciated the feedback and the updates that Sam gave me for my dog. She really did a great job in welcoming him and treating him as her own. I would definitely recommend Sam for your pet. She was very nice and had a great living area where my dog could really be as free as he wanted to be.
Sam has been raising and training all kinds of animals her entire life. This includes but is not limited to: horses, dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and geese! While not certified as a professional, Sam has taken a number of intensive dog training courses and is actively looking to get her own certified as a Divine Canine. Sam has dealt with a wealth of personality types including nervous, anxious, ultra high energy, and aggressive. She is an expert in addressing behavioral issues and uses positive reinforcement and plenty of exercise to get the most out of dogs. I would trust Sam with any of my animals!

I will be sure to keep your dog active with many walks around our hilly neighborhood, through open fields of our new development, and potentially over to Walter E. Long lake just down the street. I also love McKinney Falls State Park and own a Texas State Parks annual pass!
