I am an assertive and affectionate pet caretaker. I have helped raise a puppy, Teega, to adulthood in the past year and was part of curating Huckleberry, my well-aged family dog. Each dog was trained using techniques more specific to their actual owners -- with Huckleberry, my parents took a more authoritative approach to combat his attempts to dominate a much smaller me. He is and has been the most even tempered, intelligent, and respectful dog I have ever known. Teega has a still developing personality, but she and I developed a special bond almost immediately. Her owners take a more modern and less physical approach to her training, which seems to work well. She is puppyish, and thus quite rambunctious at times. My availability is not yet completely predictable, but I should be able to consistently do mornings (6-8am) , lunchtime, and evenings/nights for walks and runs once works starts for me beginning of March. I am willing to house sit anytime, and whether I stay in your home or elsewhere is entirely up to you -- meaning, I have a comfortable place of my own.
