Every pet is different and I'm happy to cater to their unique needs and maintain their routines. I can go for long walks, lavish them with attention, feed them at the right times, clean up after them, and give them any required medications. More information on the services I can offer: - House Sitting: I focus on this as I work from home and will have plenty of time to spend with your pets and look after your home. I'm based in Linlithgow, but can go anywhere accessible via public transport, however for shorter stays I may ask for help covering the travel costs. - Dog Walks & Drop-ins: Because house sitting takes me all over the place I can't offer regular walks, but short-term requests are possible when I’m around. I’ll keep the calendar up to date with my availability, feel free to get in touch with any questions or specific requests!
Information Sam B. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any special requirements, I have experience with all sorts of personalities and can administer medications if necessary.
A typical day
A typical day would start with breakfast and then off to the park for a good long walk, play some fetch and sniff our way around. Meadowfield is my personal favourite as it's not too populated and we have lot's of space for ourselves.

Pet care experience
Hello! Sam here, I'm a dog walker/sitter with over 10 years experience, having lived with dogs of all sizes and personalities for most of my life. I was a baby when the Labrador down the road decided it liked spending more time with our family than the owners, so we adopted him. His name was Sam too, clearly we were meant for each other. As a teenager my Dad trusted me to train and take care of Flynn, a rather quiet German Shepard. More recently my partner and I adopted a beautiful border collie, unfortunately she had epilepsy and so required a lot of care, but she was worth every second of it. I've also helped out many other people when they need someone to look after their pets. I’m also studying dog behaviour and training, and I’ve completed a certificate in animal behaviour through Coursera. I write about dogs on my website (just ask and I can send the link), which keeps me up-to-date with the latest science and gives me another reason to spend way too much time thinking about dogs!
Reviews

Sam was great with Whisky, and very accommodating of an address mix up, very pleased

Sam is spectacular! He seems very nice, took Hank on wonderful long walks all around the area (I need to up my own game to compete!), and left the house very tidy at the end. All that, and he was available to sit at very short notice when my previous sitter had an emergency and had to cancel. I'll definitely be happy to have Sam come look after Hank again. Hank will be happy, too.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have had Sam take care of both Tam and our home! Sam proved to be an exceptional sitter, and Tam clearly had a great time with him. Upon returning, it was evident that Tam was relaxed and free of any stress or anxiety. I highly recommend Sam; we know we can trust him completely!

Sam was really lovely and professional, our boy Podrick loved him and seemed to have had a wonderful time on his walks! Thanks so much Sam! Can highly recommend :)
