Pet care experience
I've had dogs since I was 5 years old, and am comfortable with all breeds, energy levels, and sizes! I worked at a doggy boarding/day care facility during college and have supervised large groups of dogs. I recently moved to Grand Forks for grad school and have been having a blast exploring North Dakota with my 14 yr labradoodle and 7 month old lab/golden mix. You can expect a very personalized, loving and active environment for your pup when they are with me. Your pup will be considered part of the family and cared for as if they are one of my own. I am happy to send you texts/photo updates per your request - I know any time spent away from your furry friend can be difficult!

Sally was absolutely wonderful! She took great care of our elderly dog and cleaned up after her when she had accidents without any complaints. She called us as soon as she thought there was a problem and stayed with our dog longer than we had asked. She is a very kind person and very trustworthy. We were very thankful for Sally!!
Sally is a responsible, adventure loving, animal lover. Whenever Cleo (my sassy, smart beagle mix) is with Sally I know she is in the best of hands. Cleo comes home from her walks happy and tired. It takes a lot to wear my mischief maker out!

I am happy to walk any type of dog but would like to know if any leash aggression or issues exist. For extra large breeds, good leash manners are a requirement. I would also like to know what commands your fur friend is familiar with (ex: heel, sit, stay, here, come, any hand commands, etc).
A typical day
I'm very active and love taking my dog on long walks, hikes, and runs and would love to bring your pup along too! I frequent the Greenway in town and love exploring new parks. My dog can vouch that I am an excellent fetch partner and not too shabby with tug-of-war either. I am happy to help reinforce leash manners and basic commands (sit, come, stay, etc). At the end of a long day I give a pretty good belly rub and a goodbye treat.
