Hi, I’m Salim! I’m a local artist, writer, dancer, yogi, and lover of Mother Earth who’s on here simply because I love to connect with and care for animals and was looking for an extra source of income. Originally from Miami, I graduated from Bard College back in 2018 and through a serendipitous series of events found myself staying in the Hudson Valley and becoming a transplanted local. I figured this was as good a place as any to meet some animals while at the same time helping others with their pet care needs. Each pet has their own needs and quirks so I focus on adapting to the needs of every animal I work with. My schedule is fairly flexible and I can promise all the attention and affection they deserve when I say I’m available. I have had two dogs over the past couple of years, including one that I raised up from puppyhood for a friend. Im fairly active so I can definitely keep up with the best of them (I hope). Regardless of what each pet needs, my primary goal is just keeping them happy!
