PLEASE READ BEFORE. I have used Rover plenty of times and I have not had an issue with any sitters. The reason I give a 1-star rating is due to the fact that she was unable to truly take care of Cleo( my dog). She sent me videos right off the jump stating everything was great. At 10pm she sends me a message stating she(my dog) was whining in her crate and I was unable to respond due to me being on vacation. The next morning at 6am Saina sends me a message asking me to come get my dog due to the whining. She said since she’s a medical student and so are her roommates she needs her sleep, even though her bio states she will take on the responsibility of a dog owner in her free time. I had to find a new sitter, leave my vacation to make this all happen after she agreed to being able to take care of her. Once I got her back, I noticed pee stains right at the crate door which means when she was put into the crate, once they were going to bed my dog was telling them she had to use the bathroom. She fed my dog and didn’t make sure she properly used the bathroom after. As a care taker taking a dog out to use the bathroom seems like a quick solution to figuring out what’s going on. She may be able to take care of little dogs like Pomeranians and yorki because she has one herself in the same apartment she agreed to watch my dog in. I personally believe a rover sitter* agrees once signing up for this app they take on the responsibility of the dog owner after agreeing with and charging the dog owner who is busy at the moment. The only sitter out of a good 10+ sitters to ever do this I DON’T recommend at all.

Bella had a great time with Saina. She shows great love for animals and attention to detail. Highly recommend.
