Pet care experience
I have been a dog owner my entire life and started Rover after I lost one of my dogs a few years back. I am looking to help other dog owners care for his or her pet(s) as if my own. My job has relatively flexible hours. My pricing is absolutely negotiable* If your pup loves to walk/ run and play, so do I! I am also willing to take your dog to the groomer, to dog parks, on car rides, brush him or her myself as well as brush teeth and of course lots of petting and cuddles! I am usually available from 7am-9am, 11am-5pm, and after 9:30pm Monday-Friday (sometimes more availability). Weekends I coach ice skating for a an hour or two in the morning or afternoon depending but am otherwise available. *Willing to negotiate pricing on a case-by-case basis- message with any inquiries

Sage did a great job of watching our three dogs, two of which are emotionally challenged. She maintained communication with us and our house was clean when we returned. We have one very difficult dog and he and Sage got along well.

I always like to chat with the client/ pet owner about their pet and his/ her needs. At a clients’ home, I want to ensure their space is respected and treated to their standards and their pet is comfortable. In my home I do have a small fenced in yard as well as a 2 year old rescue pup (she is friendly with all people and animals).

How old is your dog? Is your dog house-broken? Is your dog prone to accidents in new places? Does your pet suffer from separation anxiety? Does your dog get nervous around new people/ places? Has he/ she ever been boarded either through a service such as Rover or a kennel-like facility? Does your dog know any basic commands? Does your dog have any special needs or care instructions?
A typical day
Parks, Hikes, Neighborhood walks or runs Dog parks, Yappy Hours, Car rides, Fetch, etc. if the owner permits, I know my dog loves pup cups after a good play sesh.

Availability
I am a wildland firefighter in the summers so from November-early/mid-May my time is very flexible. There is some part time work that I am committed to but I’m able to be accommodating most of the time.
