Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs my entire life with experience as both a pet owner and foster caretaker. I also have experience in the doggy daycare industry, and acquired skills in reading animal body language, developing trust and affection, reinforcing trained actions, and responsibly and safely de-escalating inappropriate behaviors. I also have small animal experience, including cats, mice, guinea pigs, fish, birds, and lizards, and I am certified by IACUC for safe animal handling. I graduated in December ‘22 from the University of Vermont with a BS in Wildlife Biology. I'm really looking to get all the animal interaction experience I can, and you can be sure your pet is with someone who cares deeply for their wellbeing and is respectful of their unique differences! Sadi was amazing and gave us great peace of mind when we left our dog and home for a week. This was the longest we have ever left our dog, and the pictures and videos that Sadi sent during the week really put our minds at ease. Sadi left our house very clean, and we can tell that our dog enjoyed having her here! I think he misses her and wishes she would come back! We will 100% book with Sadi again in the future, and we are so grateful for her services!

I currently do not do boarding in my home as I live with another dog. I require a meet and greet for all my services to ensure peace of mind for everyone involved. These can be done in your home, or a neutral place like a park or a walk down the street. Please make sure to reach out enough in advance to schedule one! I want clients to know I will treat your home and pets with the utmost care and respect as this position is incredibly important to me. Pet sitting is currently how I make a living, and I understand how vital the trust between pet owners and your sitter is to provide the best care for your animal.

A typical day
I love going for long walks around downtown Burlington, but if your dog prefers to spend the day snoozing in bed I won't complain. In the summer you can expect trips to the beach to frolic in the water and romping in the snow in winter!
