Pet care experience
My previous role was working for Brandywine Valley SPCA as the foster coordinator! I’m currently in school studying nursing (on break for summer) and I’m a mom to an amazing 1 year old boy. I’ve been apart of the rescue community for 8 wonderful years and been a dog trainer for 4 of them. My knowledge of dogs is extensive and I know how to handle different temperaments. Working in rescue I've handled everything from 8 week old puppies to massive hounds and huskies. In addition to my rescue and personal experience, as a dog trainer I am ready for whatever comes my way. I know not every dog will jump up and greet me when I enter the home and sometimes they need space. I have 4 dogs of my own, a 4 year old Australian Labradoodle, two 3 year old labradoodles and a 5 year old schnoodle. My labradoodles loves anyone and everyone and enjoy meeting new dogs at the park and on walks. If your dog is not dog friendly - no issue. I can make other arrangements for them easily! I promise to give your dog the best care that I would give my own. I do not have problems with other pets and have experience caring for cats, reptiles and small animals such as hamsters, ferrets and chinchillas. I am very excited to get to know you and your family. Sacha sent us so many updates, was easy to communicate with, and my doggos loved her right away. She was also flexible in a last minute dog addition, which really saved us. Would highly recommend!
I would absolutely have Sacha watch my animals again, and I'd recommend her to anyone who needs a reliable, enthusiastic animal lover to dog-sit. She sent pictures and updates every day, and was responsive to requests and instructions. I'm just so happy to have found someone who clearly adores animals and gave my dog tons of attention and affection while I was away.
Sacha is a coworker of mine and many days before works she goes with my to take me rambunctious dog to the dog park, where they run play fetch, and on lengthy walks. My dog adores Sacha, and I am so grateful for her help. She takes my dog to get baths, and she even takes my dog on dates when I have work or go out of town. My dog is 9 years old and has had zero previous training but Sacha has taught her to sit and stay and some over all manners. As well she runs adoptions at the DPS dog rescue, and has set up a dog donation bin for the organization at our work. I have never met someone who cares more about dogs.
Sacha is a volunteer with our dog rescue. She has invaluable experience working with a variety of temperaments, personalities and breeds. She has proven that she is an invaluable asset to our rescue with our handling skills but most of all with her care and concern for each one of them. She is a dream to watch with our dogs. She clearly loves each one of them and they are equally responsive to her. These are not skills that come easily but are just natural for Sacha. I would highly recommend Sacha for anyone needing a pet sitter, dog walker or someone to care for their pets. We trust her with our own dogs who come from abusive and abandoned situations. She would be welcome at any time to care for my own personal dogs.

I’m very familiar with all that goes into pet care from checking pavement temps on hot days to knowing signs of overheating to handling anxious or flight risk dogs. I am able to cater to your families individual needs as I have experience with so many different temperaments and situations!

I just want pet owners to be honest about their dogs behavior! If your dog is shy, nervous or has any behavioral issues I’d prefer to be aware ahead of time. I have no issue working with those dogs.
A typical day
Our favorite place to go to is the dog park! They love the dog park and being able to run and stretch their legs. We love Lloyd park which has a massive dog park with a great water feature and agility course. It’s expansive and fantastic for dogs who love water or just love to run!

I’m currently on break from school until end of august and have the most availability on Mondays/Tuesday’s and Fridays as those are the days my son is in daycare.
