Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Sabrina! Growing up, my whole family had lots of pets, especially dogs and cats. As far as dogs go, there were Samoyeds, Terrier mixes, Labs, Poodles, Boston Terriers-- you name it. Needless to say, I'm now a huge animal person with plenty of experience dog walking and pet sitting. I’m currently a graduate student studying education, and I work part-time at a doggie day school, so I’m around all kinds of dogs on a regular basis! I also have a pup of my own, a 1.5 year old Chi-Dachshund mix named Zoie. Her transition to the city wasn’t always easy, especially when it came to going on walks, potty training, and separation anxiety, so I have experience in those areas. Zoie is very social and playful, and gets along with dogs of all sizes! She loves when we have dogs come stay with us. I’m available for walks and pet sitting (at your home or mine), and drop-in visits. I have experience with senior dogs and cats, as well as those with special needs. I left my 9-month-old puppy, Reese, with Sabrina for a week, and it was her first time away from me overnight. She has some separation anxiety so I was definitely nervous to leave her, but Reese had the absolute best time with Sabrina and her dog, Zoie, and was even sad to leave! Sabrina took the best care of Reese, treated her and loved her like her own, and sent me many updates and pictures so I always knew exactly what was going on. She didn’t take Reese anywhere (like dog parks, another home) without asking first to make sure I was comfortable with it. I already plan on sending Reese back to stay with Sabrina and Zoie when I go away in August. Couldn’t recommend Sabrina enough, especially if your dog loves other dogs - they will have the best time running around and playing with sweet Zoie. Reese had such an active week with Sabrina and Zoie, and had beaming smile in every picture to show how much fun she was having!
Sabrina is great!! She watched my pup over the weekend (it was his second time away from home) and he seemed to have a lot of fun! Sabrina was really flexible with drop off and pick up times. She sent lots of updates including pictures which was so appreciated. And my dog got along very well with hers as well! Will definitely be going back in the future!
Sabrina is AMAZING. We adopted our Leela just a few months ago so had some parental anxiety about leaving her for a few days. Sabrina helped calm all our nerves in her considerate, thoughtful, approachable manner and through her VERY clear love and connection with dogs! Sabrina provided lots of updates and pictures about our gal and brought her dog Zo to come hang out with Leela. Sabrina gets the biggest endorsement!
