Hi California Community 🏄‍♀️🏄🏽‍♂️🏄🏽🏄🏾‍♀️, Spending time with dogs 🦮🐕‍🦺 and kitties 🐈‍⬛ 🐈 is SO JOYFUL for me 🥰💓🥰 I love to take care of furry pet(s) with pet care, dog walks, and/or pet-sitting! 🥰☀️ I am currently available for August and September with petsitting 🦮🐕‍🦺🐈🐈‍⬛ in the Santa Monica area!🐕🐈🐩🐈‍⬛ I enjoy learning and growing at one of the Santa Monica yoga 🧘🏽‍♀️🧘🏾‍♂️🧘🏼communities 💖🥰🌟🌷☀️ My pet care experience includes: I.) Pet-sitting and house-sitting experience in Colorado: Boulder, Denver, and Salida and Spring 2002 in Austin. Local and professional references available. I had my own side pet-sitting business in Boulder when I was younger where I pet & house-sat and dog walked for friends and neighbors. I also pet sat for friends and family in Salida, Denver, and Lakewood. In Lakewood I took care of my family's senior dog with her insulin shots. I enjoy helping people with their pet family wherever I go. I pet-sat for my past housemate's senior kitty and with his medications. And while dropping-in and working at Impact Hub co-working space, I dog walked someone's large dog friend. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I am very social with cats and dogs, "listening," to them, following pet-parent's instructions. I like to make sure the furry kids have their needs met while feeling loved and connected while their parents are away. I like meeting with the prospective family for a meet and greet to hear and share how I can help with your furry pet(s). I like to know the pet’s/pets’ needs, schedule, any health concerns, if they need medication, and feeding instructions. For dogs: dog walks are essential. Being able to take time to smell, socialize, and play is also important. I do know how to properly handle a dog on leash, keeping them close when needed such as at intersections and other safety needs. I absolutely LOVE dog walks : ) * Also I’m still learning how to use this app. So some of the additional cost for dog walks such as with extra dogs, let’s talk about in person. I’d rather dog walks be affordable. ~~~~~~~~~~~ For cats: I am definitely a cat person too. Shy cats warm up to me usually fast. A friend told me she doubted if her cat would come out while I was around. Her cat came out to say hi within minutes of the first day. Cats usually can sense that I'm a cat lover : ) * also I noticed there’s additional charges for additional cats. Again I want this to be affordable. So with me you can just say that you have one cat, even if you have more than one. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ II.) My Personal Pet Stories: I've enjoyed the company of schanuzer dogs and cats since I was a baby. In kindergarten I adopted my own neighborhood kitten, Princess, who I was responsible for. I enjoyed her company till she passed away when I was a sophomore in college with my own apartment. By then I also had a puppy schnauzer, Hans, who I was training, and taking for walks, hikes, and adventures. He was my best friend till the end when he passed away when I was 35. While I was at the vet with him, an owner of a pet rescue happened to be sitting by me. She asked if I would want to adopt another schnauzer. "Yes!!" I immediately said. So then Teddy came into my life. I later found out that he was a senior. Teddy was still able to go on hikes with me till he passed away. People noticed how much I was missing Teddy, and told me about a dog adoption fair in the neighborhood. That's where 17 year old Buddy came into my life. Buddy's human parent was dealing with a serious health concern, so Buddy had spent years in a crate. I potty trained Buddy (yes a senior dog), taught him how to walk on a leash (yeah), and fed him healthy high quality food so that he gained critical weight and muscle mass. Buddy regained his balance, and then was able to go on a hikes with me. I was SO PROUD of him, and HAPPY for him. And he would do his, "happy dance," when I returned home saying to me, "where've you been?!! I missed you!! Let's go!! Yipee!!!" Buddy even enjoyed doing a lemonade stand & baked goods sale with my friend and her daughters. Buddy was the very example of grace and grit. He also taught me how to enjoy every moment with those you love. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ III.) Animal Lover: Best years of my life were with my animal friends. I've been busy with my past side seasonal food product business and lining up work, I am waiting to adopt again.
