Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs and cats for my friends and family since I was 10. I was trained as a volunteer at the humane society in animal care and animal behaviors when I was 11. I was also in a leadership role at a doggie daycare for a year where I was able to gain a lot of first hand experience with dog behaviors, dog safety, dog health, specific breed knowledge and accommodations, and much more! I have experience with puppies and senior dogs from raising my own dogs. I also have a lot of experience and understanding with anxious and reactive dogs! In terms of cats, I have first hand experience in cat care from raising my cat, Oko! She’s an extremely high energy and “overstimulated” cat which has given me a good understanding of cat behaviors and especially cat boundaries.

Let me know how your dog reacts to new people! It’s always helpful to know what kind of dog I’ll be caring for whether they’re timid or friendly! Let me know how your dog does on walks! Do they pull on the leash? Or get scared by other people walking by? Learning all of your dogs quirks can be super helpful! Let me know if you have any other animals in the home! Even if I won’t be caring for them while I’m there! Written introductions are always appreciated especially if we organized a meet and greet a couple weeks before your booking! PLEASE NOTE: I am unable to be booked for 60 minute services because I am not currently offering 60 minute services. Please do not request a 30 minute services in hopes of getting 60 minutes!

I love playing your dogs favorite game and taking them on walks where they’re most familiar. I like to go along with your dogs routine so it feels a bit more normal when you’re away!

PLEASE NOTE MY AVAILABILITY BEFORE BOOKING WITH ME: I recently decided to do pet sitting full time again, but this time I am a year-round full time college student! I have in person classes on Mondays and Wednesdays. Over the summer I will be participating in fully online. Then again in the fall I will resume in person classes on Mondays and Wednesdays. I will have limited availability from 10am-2pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. I am absolutely willing to see if every dog or cat can work into my schedule, so feel free to message me and let’s see if I can work something out!
