Pet care experience
Hi! I've been caring for my pet cats my whole life, and spent the last 11 years caring for dogs as well, because most families I nannied for had dogs. I was also lucky enough to get to care for a pittie mix of my own for a while! I'm very high energy, so I'd love a dog who wants to run around the globe a few dozen times, but I also love to snuggle and pamper, so I'd love a pup who wants some grooming and TLC. I can drop by for visits and walks, or stay in your home... whatever is best for you and your fur babies. I know each dog has their own personality, and I'm excited to see all the tricks and games your dog likes to play. I hope to hear from you and your pup soon!

Rylan was amazing! She stayed at our place & watched our dog while we were on vacation. Rylan followed instructions & was very professional and she provided detailed updates and pictures of how each day was going & followed our dog’s daily routine & medication instructions. We would definitely ask Rylan to watch our pup again!

Rylan has been caring for our family for the last few years! They dependably try their best to meet our varying needs (we have a lot of last minute schedule changes) and are always happy to see us. We have two pups, and Rylan has been great at balancing their needs, and somehow still finds time to give our cat a cuddle. We’re happy to hear that other pups will get to meet Rylan too!

I am familiar with walking dogs in a variety of environments (busy roads, around people, nature), and the different adventures and challenges they create. I am happy to send pics of your pup while we are out- I love to share the joy we'll have on our walks! I will establish a relationship with your dog before leaving for our first walk, and make sure I have a clear understanding of any training or language to support. In the home, I will maintain the routine that your pets are used to, and redirect/reassure them if they seem anxious.

If your dog has any sensitivities, aggressions, or reactions, that would be good to know so I can avoid under/overstimulating the dog. But all breeds and all needs are welcome!
A typical day
Wherever the dog wants! (Within reason, of course). Dog parks are great, nature is full of interesting smells, neighborhoods can be calm and familiar... wherever your dog feels most comfortable, I'm happy.

I work a day job M/W/R/F from 730a-530p, but I am otherwise open to any days and times! The day job can occasionally be adjusted, so please reach out with any questions. I strive to be flexible with all possible aspects of my schedule to make the best of my time and yours.
