Hi! I’m a stay-at-home dad, so I can provide 24/7 care to your pup. I’m passionate about being outside and playing with my children, and we love having more dogs to join the fun. Newman is our Shih Tzu/Bichon Frise mix also referred to as a "Teddy Bear" dog. He's a bunch of fun and a total fur ball. In fact, I believe he is mostly fur packaged in a tiny body of attitude. I love dogs — I’ve have had dogs in my life for many years. Being a pet owner, I know how important it is to rely on a sitter who will care for Abby as if she were their own. When we leave, I hate the idea of having Abby in a kennel – I much prefer to have her in the care of someone we trust, knowing that she's getting personalized attention and care. I love being able to provide this peace of mind for other dog owners. When caring for someone's pet, I take that responsibility very seriously — as I would expect from someone watching my dog Abby. While I have the luxury of being a stay-at-home dad, I am no couch potato! Dogs in my care have the opportunity to exercise throughout the day. I've become very knowledgeable with dogs over the years, and I am also fortunate to have a brother who is a veterinarian. It is understandable when dogs are nervous to be away from their pet parent. To help with the transition, I ask that when you drop of your dog, you also bring the things they love most! This can be a toy, special treats or even their bed if you would like. With tons of care and attention, I bet it won't be long before your dog feels right at home.
